Balthazar's Spirit & Furious
If I have Life Bond on a tank and Balthazar's Spirit on myself, does a Furious weapon upgrade effect the adrenaline gained from Balthazar's Spirit?

I don't know for sure, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that most likely, no, it does not.
Edit: After doing a little more research, I can almost assure that it does not. Furious will activate on attacks, attack skills, and skill that (directly) grant adrenaline gain. Balthazaars Spirit is classified as a skill that increases adrenaline gain rate <Adrenaline-related skills>. However, it is not stated explicitly. Therefore, I would do some testing. Remember that Balthazaar's Spirit grants precisely 1/25th of an adrenaline strike. An ideal test would be having one monster strike you while you Balthazaar's Spirit on. Then, using the lowest adrenaline-costing skill you can, count the number of hits it takes you to charge the skill. Obviously during this time you should not attack. If the number of hits it takes to charge the skill is less than its theoretical requirement, then I think you would have found your answer. Not precisely Bright, Furious will also affect gain on skill like Signet of Aggression according to the furious article. However, it is unclear if furious simply affects ALL gain of adrenaline (as stated in the talk page).
Given the nature of Balthazaar's Spirit (conditional direct adrenaline gain, not percentage increase) it is entirely possible that Furious will affect it. |

First of all, balth spirit adrenaline gain is directly correlated with the points in smiting prayers, it isn't 1/25.
Every time you hit something you gain 25 points of adrenaline. Balthazars spirit grants anywhere from 2-6 points of adrenaline As of furious question, I am not sure. At 12 smiting you would get 4 points per hit, so it would take 5-7 hits to fuel a 1 adrenaline strike skill. I will test shortly. You must also keep in mind you gain adrenaline when you lose life, so it is best to test when taking 0 damage. |

Lol, testing, who???d a thought of that.
Took Auspicious Parry, a 1 adrenaline skill to measure Life Bonded Jora and loaded Balthazar`s Spirit on me Flagged Jora to engage the boss just outside Sardelac Sanitarium Without Furious upgrade: 0 Smiting: 13 hits to fill 12 Smiting: 7 hits to fill 16 Smiting: 5 hits to fill 19 Smiting: 5 hits to fill (really 4.5, so 5) With Furious Upgrade: 0 Smiting: 11 or 12 hits to fill (depending on 10% hits) 19 Smiting: 5 hits to fill, with the 7th run at 4 hits to fill It appears Furious does enhance Balthazar`s Spirit. Edit: Thought I would check "For Great Justice!" while I was there and it also works from Balthazar`s Spirit... 16 Smiting, no Furious filled in 3 hits. And according to your test 0 smiting was only 1 off, not conclusive enough imo, and 19 was the same? Best to test on a 200 poitns skill,(SY!) |

The 0 smiting actually reflects exactly what I anticipated with a 10% chance of double adrenaline... with 13 hits and a 1 in 10 chance of double adrenaline, you would get 1 or 2 hits of double adrenaline dropping the total to 12 or 11. It was consistent over 8 runs. I was not as interested in the exact count, which a larger sample would provide, but more if Furious did interact with Balthzar's Spirit... which I now believe it does. I thank you for the info that the smiting attrib level has an effect on the adrenaline generated, as I was unaware of that... i only knew what wiki said with that 1/25th bit. wiki needs an update for Balthz. Edit: did 5 runs with SY!, no Furious, and it took 40 hits each run to fill. Then did 10 runs with SY! and Furious, with the following result... 36 hits 38 hits 37 hits 35 hits 34 hits 36 hits 37 hits 36 hits 36 hits 34 hits which averages to 36 hits to fill, as expected with 10% double adrenaline. 1 in 10 hits (4 in 40) get double adrenaline, so 4 less hits required.
